Heber J. Moran, Esq.

Heber graduated Valedictorian from Pomona High School in 2005 and was honored with acceptance letters from many schools including Cornell, Brown, Columbia and Stanford, where Heber chose to enroll. The summer after his first year at Stanford, Heber was accepted to the prestigious Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Internship Program in Washington, DC where he was given the opportunity to meet promising young leaders and work on Capitol Hill. The following summer, Heber was awarded a competitive fellowship to design a community service project at a teen center in my hometown. In addition, during his third year at Stanford, Heber studied abroad in Chile where he took classes on Latin American history and politics. During all four years at Stanford, Heber worked at the Psychology department. 

 

After graduating from Stanford, Heber enrolled at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. During his first year, Heber worked at the Disability Rights Legal Center. After Heber's first year, he interned for the LA City Attorney’s Office and the legal department of the Los Angeles LGBT Center. After his second year, Heber worked for an employment law firm in Long Beach. During his third year in law school, Heber externed for a Family Court judge in Downtown Los Angeles. Heber graduated in May, 2012 after serving as the Vice President for Loyola's chapter of Outlaw, an organization dedicated to advancing the interests of LGBT law students. Heber served as the interim clinic managing attorney at the Inland Empire Latino Lawyer's Association in Riverside upon completing and passing the Bar exam on his first attempt. Heber, alongside his sister, Cindy Moran-Aguirre, has operated Moran and Moran, LLP, a family law practice for nearly 10 years. He helps clients in both English and Spanish. 

Heber is currently a member of the Riverside County Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
